Building Update

Construction Delayed

The PA Department of Labor and Industry requires approval of our construction plans before we can begin. To be approved, a sprinkler system and bathrooms must be added to the original plan. This has increased our costs by $100,000 - $150,000 plus labor and engineering fees. We are in the process of reaching out to all available sources for funds to complete the additional work.

The Therapeutic Learning Center, or TLC, will provide students, volunteers and horses with cover from hot sun and wet elements, and a large enough riding area (130' x 80') to hold individual and group lessons.  In addition to the riding classes, two new programs will be added this year-classes specifically for the deaf/hard of hearing, and classes for the elderly.  Future plans include programming for military veterans and at risk youth.
